Rescue Asia Pacific Launches Electronic Alerts
Free Service Keeps Recipients Informed on Their Terms
Stateline, Nevada USA. October 1, 2007. Rescue Asia Pacific today announced electronic alerts services to all first responders in North America, New Zealand and Australia. The free service provides professionals an opportunity to receive newsflashes or macroscopic alerts defined according to each subscriber's preference settings. The system allows users to modify their preference settings and change delivery options at any time

The opt-in system is set to deliver alerts via email during the first phase of its rollout with additional delivery options, including an email to cell-text beta, slated for implementation later in 2008. Content is restricted initially to events posing a broad impact on first responders within predefined geographic regions.
